Alma Lobster Shop

The Alma Lobster Shop is a must see when visiting the village of Alma and touring the Bay of Fundy. The Restaurant features a variety of creative seafood dishes inspired by the local seafood markets. The smell of the in-house maple smoked salmon flavouring the fresh salt air lures you on to the covered patio and dining area. You can view the fishing boats unloading their catch of the day at the wharf while dining at the waters edge.  The fish market displays a variety of locally caught Bay of Fundy seafood including Lobster, scallops and Halibut, world famous PEI mussels, and much more. Visit the gift shop and take home a hand painted canvas, handcrafted  wooden coasters and a variety of other locally made souvenirs. 
Don't Forget to visit the tank house to view the 200,000 gallon salt water tank and stop by the touch tank to enjoy some live Bay of Fundy marine life.

Fundy National Park 

Fundy National Park is a must see when visiting the Maritimes. This natural wonderland boasts ___ square km that traverse from the soaring views of the Bay of Fundy shore to the cascading hills and valleys of the Caledonia Highlands.  Whether you just want to take in the breathtaking bay views, head out on the trails to see waterfalls, cascading rivers, a rugged coastline of cliffs, sandy beaches, tidal flats and salt-water marshes, swim in the heated salt-water pool or golf a challenging 9 hole course, Fundy National Park has it all.

The Village of Alma

Though tiny, this little bayside fishing village is home to the highest tides in the world. The village of Alma serves as the gateway to Fundy National Park and offers picturesque views of the beautiful Bay of Fundy with miles of beach and rugged coast to explore. Here you can witness the tide cover 3/4 of a mile of the ocean floor and raise 50 feet at the Alma Wharf in just 6 hours. You will see the local fisherman come and go with the tide and deliver the freshest lobster, scallops, and halibut to the local restaurants and market.

Cape Enrage 

Cape Enrage boasts some of the best views of the Bay of Fundy. Settled on top of a towering 143 foot cliff sits a spectacular 140 year old lighthouse, one of the oldest on the bay. Experience one of the most unique views of the bay from the 600 ft zip-line overlooking the famous tides or by repelling the rock cliffs to the waters edge. Take the scenic route along highway 915 to enjoy saltwater marshes and Waterside and Dennis beaches on the way to this gorgeous must-see destination.

Hopewell Rocks

Located in Hopewell Cape New Brunswick, only a 35 minute drive from Alma, are the Hopewell Rocks. Walk on the ocean floor amongst the 'flower-pot rocks' at low tide or kayak amongst the caves during high tide. Mary's Point Shorebird Interpretation Centre 

Visit New Brunswick's #1 birdwatching hotspot at Mary's Point. Part of the Shepody National Wildlife Area, Mary's Point boasts a sandy beach, rocky islands, and miles of mudflats where you can view thousands of sand pipers and other shorebirds during migrating and season. In addition to birdwatching the area is known for its fossils found in the sandstone rock formations on the beach.

The Fundy Biosphere Reserve covers an area over 430,000 hectares of unique landscapes, geological formations, and ecosystems in the Upper Bay of Fundy. This organization provides international recognition for the Bay of Fundy while promoting conservation and sustainability of the area.
